ASHS Gala Night 3 March 2018
The Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre’s Virtual Shed Project invites all men residing in the Upper Hunter Shire to book and participate in our final Men’s Health Tour to be held on 3 March 2018 visiting the Australian Stock Horse Society Nationals in Tamworth.
Belinda McKenzie Project Officer for the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre Virtual Shed Project believes that the Men’s Tours held over the last two and a half years have forged friendships and reinforced the importance of maintaining good health. This has been a great networking opportunity for the men to talk freely and openly with other men about health, social and local issues. She said “These men’s tours have grown in popularity and this last tour will not be any different with this great afternoon and evening of entertainment.”
Belinda went on to say that “This experience sees the amazing relationship between horse and human performing at the largest Australian Stock Horse event in Australia. The ASHS Gala Night has become a huge draw card for spectators and will continue to deliver must see live equine entertainment with a full production of dramatic lighting and audio. The line-up includes professional equine entertainers performing awe-inspiring horsemanship, thrilling stunts and a hint of comedy to watch and enjoy”.
The tour will depart Scone Railway Station at 1.00pm and collecting Merriwa attendees from the Visitors Centre in Willow Tree at 1.45pm. A donation of $10 is required at the time of booking with the balance of costs subsidised by project funding. To book pop into the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre or phone the office on 6545 2562 for further information. Bookings will close at 1pm Wednesday 1 March 2018.
